Tired of persistent hair fall, a 27-year-old software engineer in Bengaluru has taken his life in India.
R Mithun Raj of Jaihindpuram, Madurai, who started his career in Infosys, Chennai, and later moved to Bengaluru to work in a software company decided to do the unthinkable after a possible frustration with the growth of hair on his head.
“The techie had a skin problem on his scalp due to which his hair was falling. He had tried many medicines, but nothing prevented his hair fall,” police told The Times of India. Mithun’s father died a long ago while his mother lived in Madurai.
Before he committed suicide, Mithun, had shown signs of depression over his hair problem and most times complained to his mother about this. He had taken leave a day before he committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan.
His mother had gone to a temple when Mithun took the drastic step. When she returned she saw her son hanging from the fan in their house and he was taken to hospital where he was declared dead.
