Fresh from unveiling the viral video for his latest single “Badda Dan Dem” which was supported by leading Afro-beats taste-maker blogs and the likes of BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Edu and Capital Xtra’s DJ Abrantee, fast-rising London based Nigerian Afro-beats crooner MARTEL B returns to the forefront with an excellent Afro-Pop remix of Chris Brown’s popular hit single “Loyal” aptly titled “Awon Temi Loyal”.
Accompanied by a black and white themed silhouette style net video shot by SK Visuals on location in East London and directed by Martel B himself, “Awon Temi Loyal” sees Martel B in fine form yet again, brilliantly rapping and singing both in English and Yoruba – as he pays homage to his loyal fans, family and closed-knit team, over the infectious musical backdrop originally produced by Nic Nac.
With a new single titled “Dance For The Camera” set to be released in October via Sagsco and still riding high off the back of his Limited Edition EP, Martel B is leaving us with something fresh, captivating and distinctly him, to hold us over until his forthcoming single.
