Fresh looting and violence has erupted in central Johannesburg as armed protesters shutdown streets chanting “foreigners must leave.
In a fresh video came across by Zenithnaija, the South Africans were seen looting shops and attacking foreign nationals before the arrival of the police.
According to reports, one person was stabbed in the Johannesburg inner city as angry mob targeted foreigners and their businesses after disrupting the rally of the former Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP) leader Mangosutho Buthelezi, who attempted to address tenants of George Koch, Denver and Jeppestown hostels.
There is heavy police presence arresting looters and dispersing the protesters.
The stabbed person as reported, have not been confirmed by police.
